Local unemployment fares fares better than state, nation

But just barely. The Bureau of Labor Statistics released shattering unemployment numbers today that show the nation's employers are continuing to slash jobs in an attempt to deal with slackened spending. While the our state and county's November numbers won't be out till later this month, we looked not-horrible in October.
